We were a group of 4 who wanted relaxed wine tasting experiences. Simply Driven arranged the tastings per our request with some input on what we were looking for and what we like. We spent one day in Napa and one day in Sonoma, and the experiences were wonderful. Gordon was a great driver, driving pretty slowly to accommodate my motion sickness on curvy roads.

They can help you with the itinerary for an additional fee or you can set your own schedule and they will just drive.

Having used them a couple of times now- I did a little of both. I set up the wineries that my friends wanted to go to and then given we had some time left in our 5 hour window, I asked our driver, Leilani, who is also the owner, what she suggested. And she over delivered as usual!

We had a great experience with Grady who chauffeured us in our rental car for our day of wine tasting around Healdsburg. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had spent time working in the wine industry so had a lot of interesting tidbits. He drove safely and took care of us the whole way. Best Wine Trip Coronation & Driver! We just got back from a couples wine trip of a lifetime thanks to our driver Buzz. We worked with him to choose six wineries over two separate days that were unique & special. Thanks to Buzz we had a safe driver and an itinerary that made sense. He was organized and punctual to the minute, but also so fun! Karaoke got pretty competitive in the afternoons. If you were on the fence about hiring this company, don’t think. Excellent Driver/Guide We were so lucky to find Simply Driven! When looking for car service to avoid driving while wine tasting, the prices were outrageous. Simply Driven was very reasonably priced and their driver drove our rental car. The driver was insured. Not only was Steve a great driver he was an excellent tour guide as he was driving. He was full of info on wine country. He always was prompt and reminded us when it was time for the next winery. He even provided bottled water and cloth napkins for our lunches on the go. Fabulous Girls Trip Our trip was amazing especially thanks to Simply Driven. We are 6 college friends in our thirties from the East Coast. Grady was our driver and kept us on track, suggesting changes to our itinerary and making sure we ate! Communication prior to the trip was simple and concise. He emailed and called ahead of time to remind me to finalize our itinerary as I had of course left everything to the last minute. Grady clearly has a lot of knowledge about the area and the history of the wineries and vineyards. We enjoyed chatting with him in the car and appreciate his lack of outward judgment as we became increasingly inebriated over the course of each day. Above and Beyond! Marissa was our driver for the day and was fantastic!! She communicated constantly and was so knowledgeable during our trip. She gave us tips and tricks to truly experience Napa! When we overstayed at one stop she quickly shuffled things around and even took us to her favorite taco stand to refuel! When we weren't sure on dinner reservations Marissa took it upon herself to book reservations for us and it did not disappoint! Was one of the best parts of our trip!

Highly recommend! Great way to get away for tastings without driving and without spending a fortune. When I looked into drivers, it was about half the cost to have someone drive your rental rather then getting a car. We had a rental anyway so made sense for us. For $75 they can plan your itinerary - I gave Grady 5 wineries he told me the best 3 from my list. I loved every winery we went to! Every winery we went to we got a tour I think because Grady booked them for us. When I booked wineries on another day we didn't get a tour at either place. Also it was less stressful bc he booked the places and decided on the times. Grady knows everyone and is a wealth of knowledge. My husband asked a ton of questions Grady was patient and knowledgeable with them all. I'm so glad he drove - some of the roads were windy and small and would be hard for someone like us who didn't know where we were going (and then one of us couldn't enjoy the wine! Highly recommend!

Wine Country with local flair!! Simply Driven far exceeded our expectations and created an incredible wine tour/tasing experience that was centered on all the things we enjoy. She was very kind, thoughtful and helpful. We got to see a few winery's that we wouldn't have known about that were delicious. We have her on speed dial for the next time we make a trip. Love her, very professional and funny too !

Simply Driven went above and beyond! We picked the worst possible time for our first visit to Sonoma wine country. The devastating fires had just hit the area, but at the time, our rental was no where near the danger spots. Our driver, Grady, arrived promptly on Saturday and broke the unfortunate news that the wineries on our itinerary were closing because the fires were changing directions. Grady started making phone calls and managed to find several wineries that were staying open, and so our journey began. We enjoyed some outstanding pinots and a fantastic fresh lunch at a local gem. We had an amazing day anyway, thanks to Grady. Later that evening, Grady even called to check on us and to advise that the fires were getting closer. Sure enough, two hours later we were forced to evacuate. We hope to return next year to finish touring the areas we missed, and we will absolutely use Simply Driven again and requesting Grady!

A little piece of Italy in America Having only visited wine country in Tuscany, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that Napa and Sonoma had that same feel. The expanse of vineyards, the olive and lemon trees and to my surprise pomegranite trees provided a wonderdul backdrop to a beautiful countryside! The best part is we didn't have to figure out where to go, how to get there or even time out our day. Leilani did it all! She picked out a variety of vineyards to visit, each offering their own unique setting. Our two favorites were ones we would never have picked ourselves. Tres Sabores was a vineyard we would not have found on our own as it was tucked in and behind other vineyards. The personal touches this organic vineyard shared, the true family feel made it one of my favorites places to visit. The B. Wise tasting room was one we probably would have driven past not giving it a second look which would have been a shame as it was our favorite tasting wines (Help me Rhonda!). Leilani did a great job planning our trip, driving us safely - taking different routes so that we could get a feel for the countryside and sharing her favorite places to eat, drink and be merry. Looking forward to returning and when we do, we will be sure to ask for Lei!

A group of 6 of us decided to spend a few days in California wine country. We had 1 day of driving ourselves from SF to Wine country, stopping at places along the way, but wanted one day where one of us did not need to be a designated driver. We looked into car service options, but were super thankful that a company like Simply Driven exists! It was perfect for us since we had a Suburban rental already - why pay the extra money for another car that might not have been as stylish or comfortable? Simply Driven was able to accommodate our requests pretty last minute (1 or 2 days before our appointment) and they were wonderful at taking our picks, giving other suggestions, and making the reservations for us; Service was A++ and it was so easy to communicate with them! We spent the day with Donna who was lovely and perfectly on time. During our drive she shared some wine country knowledge with us, and during lunch we all shared some stories - we just had a great time with her all day. Apart from being a driver, tour guide, and photographer, it was also great having someone to help wrangle us in to head to the next place - in all we stopped at 5 places in a day - she ran a tight ship and knew which winery to go to "after hours." Dry Creek Wineries Tour This was my second time using this service.
Donna was exceptional! Prompt, professional and an overall fun lady. She took care of us four sisters, ages 57+ and designed our day exactly as we had hoped: from easy going West Wines, to Fritz Underground with cave tour and then Cast with a beautiful tasting room. Something for everyone from Zins to Bubbles and then some. We picked up a picnic lunch which we enjoyed at the Fritz Winery which Donna prepared for us.

A great tour with Donna My girlfriend and I went on a three winery tour on a beautiful July day. The booking was handled perfectly and we were given a nice varied itinerary including a a picnic lunch spot in the gardens at Bella, which was a highlight.

Our diver Donna was an absolute delight, totally professional, well informed, drove well but also was simply great company for the day, I would highly recommend her to others.

We loved how different the wines we tried were at the three wineries (Ridge, Bella and Twomey) and the tastings are well-priced in this beautifully scenic part of Sonoma.

Napa Valley Wine Tours Grady was a pleasure to deal with and a wealth of knowledge. We left the planning to him. We gave him our preferences and he arranged two days of Napa Valley Wine Tours. We had chosen mostly smaller wineries which we loved. We did put a winery down from a "top 10 list" that was a zoo which happened to be the last winery we visited. Because all of ours had been small we had no idea that some are big tourist destinations. We are very glad we used simply driven to see smaller wineries that would not have been on the tour bus destinations. We didn't need to wait for Ubers and we had someone to take group photos and provide extra knowledge.

This was a great experience all around. I booked it online and immediately got a confirmation with an invitation to set up an itinerary. I had a reservation at a winery and Grady built the rest around that with my input. Steve drove us and did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and was accommodating to our changes on the fly. I will definitely use them again. They will go with the wineries you choose or get you into amazing places you would probably never find on your own.

Best way to do Napa Best choice for touring Napa. Unlike some driving tours, they drive your rental car, so you don't have to pay to have your rental site idle. My wife and I love drinking wine!! So we decided to make Sonoma our stop to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary!! We were having some trouble deciding how best to find the wineries that we wanted to tour, so we talked to our neighbors who had recently took a trip to the Sonoma Valley as well. They had used and highly suggested Simply Driven, which was the service they had used on their trip to Sonoma from Pennsylvania. Our preference was for some amazing Pinot Noirs at smaller production and more personalized wineries! We started the process online with some chat back and forth with Grady. As it turned out, he was our driver for our trip. From our previous chats, he suggested going to Napa and Sonoma, as we had 2 days planned for our trip. Not only did he get us into the exact type of wineries that we wanted, but set up some great lunch appointments for us as well. It was a homerun!!!! Grady was not only a fantastic person to spend 2 days with driving from location to location, but he also had customized some things to fit our schedule as we had also pre-planned some other activities. My neighbors scored a homerun with this great service and I have no reservations recommending their service to anyone else. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Our driver Emily was a delight! She was polite and knowledgeable. She got us up some dicey roads safely (Amizetta winery). We visited Goosecross, Amizetta, Beuheler and Bell Cellars. Well definitely use Simply Driven again! Exceptional customer service and professional driver!

We booked 2 tours when in Napa; one day with a professional car service and one day with Simply Driven using our rental van. We paid half the price for Simply Driven and had such a wonderful time! Leilani (our driver) was so much fun, knew all of the back roads to take us and had lots of knowledge to share. We had a blast! When we come again, we will only book with Simply Driven! Also Grady was wonderful to work with when booking the tour - super quick to respond and had great suggestions.

My fiancé and I booked a trip to Napa for a wedding and wanted to make sure we got in a good day of wine tasting while we were there. After researching several car services and private tours, I stumbled upon Simply Driven. I gave them a call and was on the phone with the owner, Grady, for about an hour while he listened to me go on and on about what I wanted out of the day. I knew instantly this was our route to the best wine tasting day and it was without a doubt the most bang for the buck. Grady himself picked us up, made our flawless itinerary (he took everything I said into consideration), and played the PERFECT private tour guide we could have ever imagined. Lately I have been thinking about how badly I want to return to Napa, and naturally I think about our experience there as Simply Driven planned and then successfully executed our wonderful day trip to wine country. We had a fantastic day with Jake who is a true gentleman. He arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment time and was very conscientious about his performance. We visited 4 wineries with a picnic lunch at Honig winery in an elegant and peaceful setting. He always had a cold water for us each time we returned to the car after our tasting sessions. We chose Simply Driven because we wanted to do our own vineyards at our pace . This is an excellent way to tour Napa or Sonoma as you are in control of your visits. They had recommended several wineries, all of which were great choices. The owner, Lelani, called to make sure we were OK with her choices and she is very knowledgeable about the area. I will use Simply Driven again when we return for another visit!

We had a great 36th wedding anniversary with Grady. Everything was wonderful from booking to our outdoor lunch at Beringer to the dropoff at our hotel.
Gray was a wonderful and knowledgeable host.
We visited six wineries and tasted some amazing wines.
We would recommend him to anyone visiting Napa and will certainly use him again next time we visit!

We really enjoyed our day with Simply Driven. From the time of booking, we felt we had personal attention. In the weeks and days prior to our arrival in Napa, Grady helped plan our day based on our preferences and budget. On the morning of our reservation, Richard kept in touch regarding arrival and the plan for the day. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and would tell us stories and give us tips throughout the day. We had reservations at the first 2 wineries, but after that, Richard just made suggestions based on how we were feeling. It was a wonderful day and a great experience! We will definitely be recommending Simply Driven to friends and family!

When we decided to go wine tasting we thought we'd do a traditional tour. As I was researching what tours were available, I came across Simply Driven. I'm so glad I did! This has to be he best way to go wine tasting! Grady planned an amazing itinerary for us, including a lovely picnic lunch. We visited five unique wineries that we never would have found on our own. Grady's knowledge of the industry and local wineries made for a very fun day with lots of laughs and wonderful wines. The next time we make it to Wine Country we will be setting up another appointment with Simply Driven. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a fun afternoon of wine tasting.

We had an awesome afternoon with Leilani. She drove us to 4 awesome wineries. And brought us lunch from Calistoga when we were wine tasting. She took us to the best vineyards in the Napa Valley. Could not do that many vineyards if we did it ourselves nor would it be safe.

Safety and peace of mind is totally worth it. Too many drunk driver in the afternoon weekend in Napa Valley who don't know their limits nor when they are safe to drive. I would do it again without hesitation. Be smart and be Driven in Napa.

Leilani is a wonderful guide through Napa Valley. She knows the best wineries, and creates an amazing experience (down to planning a picnic and brining nice cloth napkins). And the best part, is that you don't have to worry about tasting a bit too much wine! You are well taken care of. I highly recommend her!
